Lately it seems the future of women's motocross with Mxsports and the WMX is uncertain. As most of you know, Mxsports is considering moving several of the WMX events to random amateur events throughout the season. Maybe including the WMX in certain men's pro nationals and the rest with amatuer races. I have heard a couple of different reasons for possibly making the changes. One is time constraint issues on race day at the pro nationals and the other being lack of corporate funding for the WMX. I feel the female side of the motocross industry is an untapped area of growth. It is sitting there waiting for someone to seize the opportunity and climb on board. I feel strongly that there are big corporations that cater to the female market that would be willing to step up with some corporate backing. Any thoughts on companies that may be willing to take the plunge? I encourage you thoughts and ideas on ways to make sure the future of women's motocross remains bright. Please post comments in a positive and constructive manner!
